FIS centenary celebrations: a night of memories, music and milestones

In the first phase, we met the client’s challenge of installing a technically innovative Apres-ski-style winter “meeting area”.

In the second phase, we took care of the bulk of the wardrobe technical work, the décor of the outdoor seafront area, guest handling and DJ entertainment.

The event was attended by around 700 participants from the world of winter sports, specifically 14 disciplines from all over the world.

We had the honor of creating an exceptional experience at the 100th anniversary celebrations of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS), held in the historic Grando Salt Warehouse in Portorož.

From idea to execution, our team transformed the space into an apres-ski party atmosphere that stretched over 130 m².

It included a ski inn, personalised gondola cabins that were transformed into comfortable seating areas and a multifunctional meeting point by an open fire.

Our set-ups included directional signage displaying all 14 FIS sports, while the décor creatively incorporated different ski equipment and brands, adding to the authentic ski vibe.

Highlight?

Our photo spot with a real gondola and realistic props was a real treat. We printed more than 770 photos and produced 457 QR codes, creating lasting memories for more than 700 valued guests.
